I traveled to Ohio for Kristin and Tim’s wedding. Kristin is one of my dear friends. We lived across the hall from each other in college and even back then I had a feeling I’d be photographing her wedding to Tim some day. Five years later, I get a call from her, all happiness and joy, she’s going to marry her Tim and will I please come and photograph it? As you can see, of course I did. Kristin and Tim are amazing people. I feel so blessed to know them and so very happy I could capture their love.
There were so many special touches throughout the day. One of Kristin’s wedding presents from a dear friend was a one of a kind – hand sewn wedding gown. Tim is a graphic designer and designed the wedding invitations and paper products. They decided to do a First Look (which I love) and made it extra special by hanging lengths of fabric from two trees that Kristin walked through when Tim saw her for the first time. Oh and one of my favorite ideas for favors – they made a custom stamp to stamp their initial “C” on all favor boxes.
Check back tomorrow to see the ceremony and party!
