Where do I start to tell the love story of Adi & Mike? It was evident immediately on meeting them what a brilliant couple they make, and the strong connection they share. Adi & Mike met in Israel a little more than 6 years ago when Adi was still serving in the Israeli Navy and Mike had just finished law school in Boston. Adi had joined Mike’s tour group for 5 days as part of a program that aims to connect Americans and Israelis. Mike returned to the US immediately after the trip, but approximately 4 months later moved to Tel Aviv in order to be with Adi. Planning their Newport, Rhode Island wedding from Tel Aviv wasn’t the easiest for them, but thanks to Mike’s mom the day went off perfectly! From the moment the day began, to moment we left the couple dancing the night away, I don’t think Adi stopped smiling. Her happiness was infectious and Mike’s love for her was evident in his eyes. After a sweet first look we strolled the grounds of Belle Mer’s Island House and captured some beautiful moments. Once the portraits were done it was time to sign the kettubah and then the heartfelt ceremony began under a chuppah filled with flowers. From then on the celebrations began.
