Maui Hawaii Wedding Photography : Eclectic Shipwreck Wedding

We love to do creative projects such as this. This shoot was a collaboration with friends from the industry on Maui. The Huialoha Church, in Kaupo Maui, was the ideal location for this Shipwreck Wedding Styled Shoot. Set on the rugged coastline of Maui, the historical landmark was an epic spot for this Bride and Groom who wanted to explore the untouched beauty of the island. It’s a wonder places like this still exist.
The Bride wore a wild organic silk gown by Lindee Daniel. The natural color of the raw fibers in the dress gave the impression of sea foam crashing on the shore, while the clouds loomed out to sea like lingering pirate ships. The table design was a mix of eclectic and antique items found by Opihi Love. A vintage nautical ship calender was re-purposed into placemats. Custom driftwood escort cards, engraved by Miss B Calligraphy, and gorgeous blooms arranged by Stephanie Shepherd adorning the table top. Across the bluff, Opihi Love designed a plush lounge area arrayed with pillows by Blue Jane Maui. This couple may be shipwrecked but they are certainly surviving in style!
